I love the idea of having a band there. And I know that the players don't hear while they are on the field (although there have been times they have, seen a few jumps and then complaints about the noise) but a good band helps the atmosphere. If anybody has ever went to a UT game, they can definitely verify that. I was under the impression that the CVC band (sorry UVA-Wise) was not very big, I know they had a large donation fairly recently and figure the band will increase, but it will be nice to hear music, and it not be from the enemy side constantly.

I've heard more than a few players, be it in warmsups, coming off the field, standing on the sidelines or whatever the case is, talking about how they wish we had a band still.

If the band is gonna be there I hope that they at least learn the school song.

All I can say is get there early and get your seats quickly! I think this one is going to make the CW--Gate City game look like a joke in terms of crowd size.

I'd get there early if I didn't work till 5 and have a hour and half drive home...which i'll have me a seat saved so it don't matter to me..

as I said before its a good idea in terms of the atmosphere of the game...But I guess I just can't justify the seating arrangements...

It'll actually be nice to hear a band on our side...I think we still had a band when I played...or somewhat of a band..

and my bad with the numbers on the band of UVA-Wise...mom is attending there and from the way she talked the band was fairly good size..
